Vicki (Bentzen)
McLeod founded Main Street in 1996. She is a professional writer, trainer
and facilitator with a background in education and management.
Vicki has a certificate in Voluntary and Non-Profit Sector Management
from the Canadian Centre for Philanthropy earned through Simon Fraser
University, and extensive experience in media and community relations.
As president of Main Street, she has focused on strategic communications
and marketing projects and organizational development consulting. She
was nominated for a 1998 Micro-Entrepreneur of the Year Award and a 1999
Chamber of Commerce Small Business Award.
Vicki is an award-winning poet, with a special interest in the arts and
the creative process. In 2003 she agreed to coordinate marketing and resource
development for the new Maple Ridge Arts Centre and Theatre (ACT) during
its first year of operation. Subsequently, Main Street provided contract
marketing services to the ACT. Vicki recently co-chaired Mainstage 2006,
Western Canada's largest community theatre festival.

Ian
McLeod, Partner

Ian McLeod
joined Main Street in 2000. He is a former news reporter and editor with
experience in municipal affairs, business reporting and the national press
gallery in Ottawa. He became a communications consultant in the late 1980s,
and was a director of communications with the B.C. government for five
years.
As a full-time consultant at Main Street from 2000-2004, Ian specialized
in advising clients on strategic planning, media relations, and editorial
and publication management. He worked with management teams in municipal
and provincial governments in preparing strategic reports and submissions.
Ian is an active community volunteer in the areas of economic development,
heritage preservation and animal welfare. In 2006, Ian moved from a senior
communications position with the Fraser Health Authority to Karyo Communications
in Vancouver, B.C., where he is Director of Client Services.

Cindy
Farnsworth, Graphics Associate

Cindy Farnsworth
has worked as an independent graphic designer since 1995. She has a diploma
in graphic design from Kwantlen College, and won several national design
awards while working at community newspapers. She produces advertisements,
magazine-style publications, brochures and illustrations. She has developed
logos for a number of local government agencies and civic projects in
the Fraser Valley.
Cindy and Main Street's principals work together as a team in the design
and production of logos, advertisements, newsletters and marketing materials.
Main Street also maintains a close association with regional printing
companies, who provide reliable and cost-effective service with promotional
campaigns and corporate reports.
